Meet Bolt

Bolt is a 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with an incredibly sweet personality and a serious love for cuddles.

This little guy is happiest when he's close to his people. He absolutely LOVES to snuggle and soak up affection, and he's already proven himself to be wonderful with children. He's spent time with kids under 7 and was completely in heaven when they sat down on the floor to love on him.

Bolt has also done amazingly well with dogs. He's currently around four adult dogs and gets along wonderfully with all of them. Since they're about three times his size, he'll occasionally give them a tiny bark and back away when he's feeling a little unsure—which is pretty adorable—but he hasn't had any issues with his canine foster siblings.

Bolt is still working on crate training. He may whine for a little while when he first goes in, but he's only had a couple of opportunities to practice so far and is just beginning to learn that his crate is a safe place.

He hasn't formally been cat tested, although he was around stray cats on the property where he was found without any known issues. At just 2.5 months old, Bolt is also young enough to adapt beautifully to just about any household with proper introductions and continued socialization—whether that includes dogs, cats, kids, or all of the above.

Bolt is at such a wonderful age to join a family, learn the ropes, and grow into an incredible lifelong companion. If you're looking for a sweet little shadow who's always ready for another cuddle, Bolt might be your guy.
