Hi there! I'm Bonnie — a 6-year-old, 60 lb Pit Mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and couch potato cuddles.
I'm the kind of gal who loves a good walk, a breezy car ride, and then winding down with snuggles on the couch. My foster calls me "pure love in dog form," and honestly, I think they nailed it. I even do the cutest little army crawl when I want affection — it's my signature move!
I walk well on a leash (unless a squirrel dares to cross my path!), and I'm both crate trained and potty trained. I know commands like sit, shake, "house" (that's my cue to head to my crate), and "off." I'm eager to please, respond beautifully to positive reinforcement, and I'm a sensitive soul — a raised voice will have me retreating, so I do best with gentle guidance and love.
I absolutely adore people and while I haven't been around kids in my current foster home, I'm so sweet and gentle that I'd likely be just fine with them! I'm also a social butterfly with other animals — I get along great with dogs, cats, and I'm extra gentle with kittens. I love to play with doggie friends and enjoy a good toy or tasty treat.
I'm just a happy, easygoing girl ready to find a family of my own to love with all my big ol' heart.
