Zoe is a 6-year-old, 60-pound Mountain Cur mix with a huge heart, an adventurous spirit, and endless love for her people.

This sweet girl is the definition of a loyal companion. Zoe absolutely adores her humans and wants nothing more than to be part of the family. Whether she's snuggled up next to you, covering you in kisses, or happily enjoying a tasty snack, Zoe is happiest when she's with the people she loves.

Don't let her love for cuddles fool you though — Zoe is always ready for an adventure! She loves getting out, exploring, playing with toys, and making memories with her favorite people. She's also incredibly friendly and has never met a stranger. New people quickly become new best friends in Zoe's world.

Zoe is dog friendly and enjoys having canine friends, but she does have a rough-and-tumble play style and does best with dogs who appreciate her energy. Because she can resource guard around other dogs, she would thrive as the only dog in the home where she doesn't have to share her favorite things. She can still enjoy doggie friendships and playdates with the right matches!

Zoe was recently returned after her adoptive home realized she was not a good fit with their cats, so this sweet girl is searching for a new forever family. She would do best in a home without cats where she can truly thrive.

She is crate trained, but she prefers a sturdier crate setup like a Ruff Land or Impact-style crate rather than a traditional wire crate.

Zoe is truly such a special dog — the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion. She's looking for a family who will love her big personality, include her in their lives, and give her the forever home she deserves.
