Meet Marshmallow

Marshmallow is a 6-month-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees with a big fluffy body, an even bigger heart, and a whole lot of love to give. Her DNA results say she's 93% Great Pyrenees and 7% Collie—but despite her strong Pyrenees roots, this girl has made one thing very clear: she's meant to be a beloved family dog, not a livestock guardian.

Marshmallow was actually born into the RRR family and adopted as a puppy. Unfortunately, she was recently returned through no fault of her own, so she's back with us looking for the family who will be her forever.

This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves to be loved. Her two favorite things in the world are being with her people and playing with other dogs. Whether she's soaking up attention from her humans, romping around with canine friends, or happily entertaining herself with toys, Marshmallow is just a joyful girl who loves being part of the action.

At just 6 months old, Marshmallow is still very much a puppy—and a BIG one at that! Her foster is continuing to work with her on crate training, and she's making great progress, but she'll need a family willing to continue helping her build those skills.

Marshmallow truly has the makings of an incredible family companion. She's social, affectionate, playful, and happiest when she's surrounded by the people and animals she loves.

She's already had one unexpected change in her young life. Now she's ready for the family who will make sure her next home is the one she gets to grow up in and call her own forever.
