Hi there! I'm Hondo — a 6-year-old, 85 lb Black Lab mix with a heart as big as my smile.
I'm all about the simple joys in life — a comfy bed, a good walk, a squeaky toy to toss around, and relaxing TV time with my people. I'm super friendly and love meeting new folks! I haven't been around kids in my foster home yet, but I'm such a gentle guy that I'm sure I'd be just fine with them.
When it comes to furry friends, I absolutely adore female dogs and do wonderfully with cats. I can be a little selective with male dogs, but once I find my circle, I'm loyal for life. I'm fully potty trained, great on a leash, and such a good boy that I don't even need a crate — I'm perfectly happy lounging around the house like a pro, but I do fine in the crate too if needed! I have also been a rockstar at adoption events.
I do love my food and toys (a guy's gotta have his favorites!), so I prefer to enjoy those in my own space away from other dogs. Other than that, I'm the definition of easygoing and affectionate — ready to bring love, laughter, and laid-back vibes to my forever home.
